  • Snow leopards can be found in the mountains of central asia.
  • Their habitat includes the Himalayan Mountains of Tibet.
  • Snow leopards enjoy high,steep and rocky places where there are a few plants.

SNOW LEOPARDS FOOD

  • Snow leopards eat blue sheep called Bharal.
  • Snow leopards also eat birds called game birds.
  • Snow leopards also eat smaller animals.

SNOW LEOPARDS POWERFUL LEGS

  • Snow leopards can jump as far as 50 feet.
  • Snow leopards have short front legs and long back legs for Jumping.
  • The snow leopards legs can make mighty leaps each nearly the length of a school bus.

SNOW LEOPARD'S FUR

  • The snow leopards fur changes color in the winter and the spring.
  • The snow leopard has thick fur padded on its legs that makes it walk without making a sound.

  • There are three main reasons why snow leopards are in trouble.
  • The first reason is that the bones, skin, and organs of large cats are valuable in traditional Asian medicine.
  • Snow leopards are substitutes for asian medicine.
  • The reason that they are substitutes because tigers are really hard to find.

  • The reason I chose this topic is because leopards have always intrested me because I like creatures that are fast and silent.
  • There is also another reason that I chose this book because l like that snow leopards can jump really far.
