I like this tea pot by Sandy Terry. The pot has is abstract but also has a cool look to it because of the cooler colors. The way the colors drip into each other I think makes it stand out. Sandy used slabs to attach the top of the pot and the beaker where the tea comes out of as well as the handle.
Micheal Sherrill's flower really stood out to me. The way the 3 colors in the leaves contrast with the reds greens oranges and purples. This is my favorite in the slide because you know it took a lot of work for him to score and slip all the petals together and get the individual center pieces to all stay perfect.
Ralph Beccera's pottery was another one of my favorites I found in my research. I liked how he used the colors to make certain parts stand out. I think this piece looks a a lot like a fish. It appears he scored and slipped the slaps together to make the shape and then probably added additional shapes to the outside to give some parts depth.
