SLIDING FRICTION

  • In skateboarding an example of a sliding motion is.....
  • When you put your foot down and rub the floor with your foot
  • This will affect motion by slowing and/or stoping the skateboard

ROLLING FRICTION

  • An example of rolling friction on a skateboard would be.....
  • When the wheels on the skateboard roll across the ground
  • This affects motion by making it easier to move and gain more speed with less and less speed

FLUID FRICTION

  • An example of fluid friction on a skate board is.....
  • When you are in the air and and the wind will push you down and slow you down
  • It pushes the board the opposite direction

UNBALANCED FORCE

  • The affects of unbalanced force on a skate boardwould be.....
  • When the skateboard is rolling because you push it with your foot
  • Theres is motion when the board is pushed

BALANCED FORCE

  • The affects of balanced force on a skateboard is.....
  • Is when you would Just be standing on your board
  • There is no motion so it's balanced force

INERTIA

  • The form of inertia on a skateboardwould be.....
  • When there is more than one person on a skateboard so there is more force needed to move
  • The more mass the more force needed

REFERENCE POINT

  • The skateboard has the refernce point of the ramps
  • The ramps show that there is motion between the ground and the skateboard

FORCE OR NETFORCE

  • If i push the skateboard with 75N but someone is crashed in front of me and i stop the skateboard with 50N
  • I would still ahve a force of 25N because you subtract 75-50=25
