Sir Isaac Newton

  • He was born January 4, 1643, in Woolsthorpe, England
  • He attended King's School, University of Cambridge, Trinity College
  • He died on March 31, 1727 in London, England, United Kingdom
  • Isaac reunited with his mother at age 12 when her second husband passed
  • Isaac had three step siblings

WHAT WAS GOING ON IN THE WORLD

  • On August 12th of 1687 the Battle of Mohacs was happening
  • Newton then experienced the inspiration of gravity with the falling apple
  • Newton returned to college in 1667 to finish his education
  • The Great Plague made its way to Cambridge
  • Isaac Newton died on March 31, 1727

Why Sir Isaac Newton is important!
He was important to the mathematical world because he completed the scientific revolution in the 17th century. He also came up with Newtons 3 laws of motion.
