Sir Frederick G. Banting Square is dedicated to this famous scientist. It includes his house, a statue, and the Flame of Hope.

My dad has Type 1 diabetes, so it is really special for me to be researching Frederick Banting. He saved millions of lives, and there are more he will save in the future. His discovery allowed my dad to be here today, and even helped me be made into being. God gave Sir Banting a purpose in life, and I think he fulfilled it.
