Simple sentence
Consists of a single independent clause

Compound sentence-consists of two or more main or independent clauses.

Complex sentence-consists of one main or independent clause and one or more subordinate clauses.

SIMPLE SENTENCE

  • Baylor is beast.
  • Tyler wears a hoodie everyday.
  • Levi wears head phones everyday.

Compound sentence
1.My uncle is walking slow,but the dog is dragging him.
2.Levi made a bet with Tyler,but if Levi looses he has to run up the halls.
3.Mrs.Peebles is awesome,so is Mrs.Alford.

Complex sentence
1.After we won the football game,we went out to dinner.
2.After the basketball game I started screaming.
3.I was late to Mrs.Alfords class,so I signed the green book.
