Lever
A. A simple machine that people use to gain a mechanical advantage to make work easier.

Wheel and Axle
A.a simple machine that uses a rod attached to a wheel to make it easier to things.

Screw
A. A device that redirects or magnifies a force to do work.
C. Examples: Jar lids, Vice

Inclined Plane
A. A sloping surface that makes the work of raising an object easier.
C. Examples: Skateboard ramp, Roller coaster

Wedge
A. Has a thick end and a thin end and can be used to cut, split, or pierce objects.
C. Examples: Axe, Needle

Pulley
A. A grooved rim in which a rope can run to change the direction of the pull that lifts the load.
C. Examples: Bottle opener,
