Wedge
A wedge is a simple machine that is made from 2 inclined planes. It is used to cut or split objects.
EXAMPLES
- Knives are used to cut objects
- Pickaxes cause it splits rock.
- Klutz pierce the ground splitting dirt.
PULLEY
A PULLEY IS A GROVED WHEEL WITH ROPE ATTACHED TO IT.
EXAMPLES
- Crate lifts are pulleys cause they carry objects by a lift
- Flag poles when you pull down.
- Window blinds uses a string to bring up the blinds.
SCREW
A INCLINED PLANE WRAPPED AROUND A CYLINDER.
EXAMPLES
- Lids screw on tight to jars.
- Door locks
- Meat grinders .

A BAR THAT ROTATES OR TURNS

- Scissors are levers when you push down
- See saws when you go up and down
