BY: ALEC, HEATH, CHANCE, AND JOHNATHON

HOW TO KNOW WHAT SIMILAR FIGURES ARE

  • If there are two balls, and the first one is larger than the second
  • One, but the exact same shape, they would be similar figures

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY SHAPES ARE SIMILAR?

  • On the same two sides of different shapes,
  • Divide them, ex. 2.4/1.2 and on the other
  • Side of the same shapes, divide them ex
  • 4.2/2.1 and see if the quotients are the
  • Same

HOW ARE SHAPES SIMILAR?

  • In order for 2 figures to
  • Be similar, the corresponding
  • Sides must be porportions
  • And the corresponding angles
  • Must be congruent.
