WHAT DO SHARKS EAT?

  • Sharks are opportunistic feeders,but most sharks primarily feed on smaller fish and invertebrates.
  • Other shark species prey on seals, sea lions,and other marine animals.

WHERE DO SHARKS LIVE?

  • SHARKS CAN BE FOUND IN ALL FIVE OF THE EARTHS OCEANS :THE ATLANTIC , PACIFIC , INDIAN, ARTIC, AND SOUTHERN OCEANS.

WHAT CAN SHARKS DO?

  • SOME SPECIES OF SHARK LIKE THE REEF WHITE TIP , ARE ABLE TO PUMP WATER OVER THEIR GILLS.

WHAT ARE BABY SHARKS LIKE?

  • There are 465 species of shark that display physical characteristics.
  • Most are identifiable by their darker upper sides that blends with the sea.

  • Sharks are highly misunderstood they are then feared. Some of the earliest sharks lived during the Devonage.

WHY ARE SHARKS IN DANGER?

  • People are cutting the fins off sharks then throwing them back into the water.
  • Without the fin ,the sharks will drown.When they drown, they die.
