• pregnancy prevention methods are used
• lower prevalence of sexually transmitted infections
• abortion rates are low

due to conservative sex practices in the U.S.:

• teen pregnancy rates are high
• abortion rates are high
• STIs are more common
• the teen mom high school dropout rate is higher 

The U.S. seems to be dropping the ball when it comes to sex, sexual health and education.

Perhaps overhauling our policies and socialized view of sex would yield some positive changes for the U.S.!
