Take full responsibility of the site while working on the coal face with my team, encourage and motivate during the task at hand. while demonstrating working to company training guidelines and all H&S policies.

Assess different circumstances and conditions of the site and focus on targeting things I can do something about. this will be achieved by

continue to drive the team to achieve targets with a can do, will do attitude focus on tasks set to keep performance levels high.

Ensuring detailed handover and accurate reports are completed daily.

liaise with different departments to ensure day to day operational needs run smooth.

Beginning the day with an end.....


Plan ahead sit down with team discuss what tasks are to be completed ensure to capture all , clearly outline the end goal.

discuss who is doing what tasks and make notes.
to avoid an misunderstanding. ensure all goa are communicated at team meeting.

Put action plan in place and carry it through to the end. Keep checking back communication is the key.
make sure of setting clear instructions. prioritising tasks set, don't just sit back and expect to achieve the goals go out and make it happen.

Then comes the second part of the plan, go out and physically carry out all duties/tasks that have been set.

Work on getting the job done to achieve what we set out to do, working with the team keeping proactive and demonstrate good behaviours amongst the team.

End the day with the result we set out to achieve, with a good handover for the next shift.

Prioritise daily tasks and give out clear positive instructions to team, Look at getting the job done within tight deadlines and timescales, while working along side to ensure achieved.

Focus on planning ahead and distribute information quicker rather than later this method will bring the best results.

Organise the team through positive delegation
and re deploy when needed getting all the priority tasks done first.

Make things happen by leading from the front clearly outlining expectations to achieve targets, Not worry about small things they can be done later in the day.

Coach team on walking the floor without blinkers on to ensure we capture all the important things first

Focus on interacting in the team with effective engagement conversations monthly listening groups and daily team talks, seeking input ideas from others and utilise ideas on the table.

Work on interacting with the team take on board and be open about ideas put on the table.

achieve this by holding regular Engagement and listening group sessions.

Seek buy in from other departments/ shifts to come on board and discuss ideas

Change attitudes to if we all work together and put our ideas across the benefits would be much greater.

Create a good working relationship while being firm but fair, change attitude to a listen and not just be heard.

To communicate effectively I will look to ensure all information provided is of a good understanding and the message gets across clearly.

Ensure When talking to people I listen properly and take in all that has been said, Keeping in mind my body language while doing so.

Avoid giving out mixed messages to ensure the best possible outcome will be achieved in any format wether it be by email, telephone, or face to face.

I will look to avoid barrier 's that sometimes cause communication problems . an example could be of different culture where words mean different things.

continue to build on good teamwork, Work on sitting down with the team and finding out there ideas, take on board differences of opinion and talking together to come up with the best solution.

Try to find new solutions to problems by getting our heads together and master how great it feels when we do work as a team.

Set clear goals daily and ensure they get the correct information to work as a team focus on making sure they have a sense of belong.

Work and influence the team boost team morale.

Work hard everyday to open doors and grab them with both hands.

Work on the coal face encouraging, mentoring and injecting team spirit lead from the front and connect with the team.

Keep fresh and on the ball projecting energy in the team.

Be proactive and stay fit while I have the passion and determination to keep growing in all aspects of my work
