  • they had their daily schedule planned daily morning to night.
  • when the workmen were there, they had to be almost dead silent.
  • they may not go outside. 
  • They had a friend Miep, who went out and got them what they needed.

  • Anne liked to write, study, & read at her desk.
  • activities had to be appropriate for the time of day.

  • Anne did not like her mother. She secretly called her mean names. 
  • Anne & Peter were in love. He was her first kiss but, was 3 years older.

hard times

  • The family was stuck in the annex for 2 years.
  • They had to be careful with their actions everyday.
  • Anne had a diary she wrote her daily life in.

Betrayed
After 2 years of hiding, Someone had found them. they we're then sent to concentration camps and died of "typhus" just 2 weeks before the U.S came. Anne's father was the only survivor.

CONCLUSION
They risked everything to be safe. Being sneaky and silent kept them alive for 2 years. Eventually, Anne's diary was found and published. The tragedy of this event is still alive today. This was a phenomenon.
