My name is Huy Lam. I'm a fourteen year old that is Vietnamese. My parents immigrated to the United States in 1992. From the early days of my family, my grandma told her grand children's - my siblings and cousins that my mother was the person that've helped her out the most in the past. My mother prefer cleaning and helping around the house such as cooking, washing dishes and other materials people do around the house. At the age of fifteen, my mother decided to give up on school and help out my grandma. That was around the 1980s, I believed school probably didn't matter in Vietnam or during that time-period. Everybody I've seen in my family has not had death, though, my Grandma's father. I believe she has only his record and not any else's. That's my family.
