Orion was one of the most best shooter of men. Apollo convinced Mother Earth to send a giant Scorpion with armor after Orion. Orion, being perswayd by the giant scorpion, escaped to the sea for safety where Apollo had come to the Goddess of the Hunting, and challenged her to archery contest. Artemis, who loved Orion, accepted the challenge and was tricked by Apollo to shoot an arrow at a black figure in the sea and hit it dead. She hit the figure in the back of the head, than realizing that the figure was not a wild animal but was actually Orion.
