• Bones - protect organ and helps the body move
• Ligament - attach bones
• Joints - movement in limbs
• Cartilage -protect friction from bones and ears
• Tendons -attach muscles to bones

How the skeletal system works with the muscular system: Most of the body's bones are associated with muscles, which pull on the bones to make them move

• Osteoporosis - bones become fragile and prone to fracture
• Leukemia - cancer of white blood cells

FACTS

• The smallest bones in the body are found in the ear.
• The longest bone in the body is the femur.
