WHAT IS A TORNADO

  • A tornado is a build up of air
  • That is also known as a spining vortex that with distructive winds.
  • It has a funnel shaped cloud at the top
  • And the eye of the tornado is known as the calmest section.
  • But always have an escape route just in case.

DO TORNADOS TWIST THE SAME DIRETION?

  • They acctually dont always twist the same direction
  • If your in the southern hemisphere they will twist clockwise
  • If your in the the northern hemisphere they will twist counter clockwise
  • But in fact they can twist any direction

WHERE IS THE MOST COMMON PLACE FOR A TORNADO TO HIT?

  • They are most common in Oklahoma, Florida, and Texas.
  • But they can almost occur anywhere.
