THE SUN

• The sun is in the center of the solar system
• The sun is like a big huge star that keep earth warm
• The sun takes about 230 million year to rotate around the Milky Way

COMET

• A comet is made out of dust,ice,carbon dioxide,ammania,methane.
• Comets are like dirty snow clouds.
• When a comet goes near the sun it develops an atmosphere or coma.
• The coma may be hundreds of thousands of kilo. in diameter.
• The gravity of the sun which pulls them faster and faster as they fall. Closer to the sun.

TELESCOPES

• Optical instrument made to make distant objects seem nearer.
• It helps scientists guess what the planets and sun are.
• It depends where you use a telescope;needs to be in the right place for the answer.
• A telescope helped Galileo see the Venus and the surface of the moon.
• A type of telescope is x-ray.It helps study the Sun,stars,and supernovas.

SPECTRASCOPE

• It is apparatus for producing and recording spectra.
• It helps astronomers find out the origins of the universe.
• It needs to be in the right place or your recordings will be wrong.
• A type is a prism spectrascope.It is based on dispersion.
• It helped astronomer see what Saturn is made of(methan).
