Pink= The Carribeans, Green=Chile, Purple=Australia
The Caribbean- Since the Caribbean is surrounded by warm currents of water and is close to the Ecuador, the general area and island is warmer. With the temperature of the ocean, this can cause hurricanes and thunderstorms to happen a lot.

Chile, South America
Chile, South America, is surrounded by cold currents and is no where near warm currents. Because of this, Chile has cold water and cold air in the general area. Since the general area has cold temperatures there is less humidity and evaporation which also means less precipitation.

Australia
Australia has cold and warm currents surrounding it. This affects the area by making precipitation come every now and then, and makes the temperatures vary from cool to hot. The reason Australia has cold currents is from Antarctica.

Sea Turtle Migration:
Sea turtles migrate from the eastern coast of Florida to the Northern
Atlantic every year. Their influence to be in Florida is because of
the warm weather to hatch their eggs. The time period in which they
migrate from the eastern coast to the northern Atlantic is called the
"frenzy" because all of the turtles are motivated to keep swimming.
