How it starts

The water enters through the roots. The roots are at the way bottom of the plant and the roots help soak up water.

Next, the water enters through the xylem. It then starts to travel the rest of the way through the plant.

Then, the water goes up the stem. As you can see when you get a closer view of the root of all of can see the root hairs.

After that the water travels throughout the leaves of the plant.

The next step is the water goes through the stomates

Then the water goes through the guard cells. The guard cells are what controls the stomates.


Lastly the water is Sent into the air as water vapor.
