  • Saturn spins faster then any other planet but Jupiter
  • Is the sixth planet from the sun and sec largest in solar system
  • With mass of 586.3 E 24 kg with surface area of about 16.49 billon square miles
  • Made up of billions of particles such as rock, ice, and gasses with temp of 288 degrees
  • Formed by clumps of dust and gas that were bond together early in life of solar system

  • Most of the heat Saturn receives comes from the center.
  • Saturn is the least dense planet in the universe.

  • Sometimes the rings disappear or appear to be when saturns axis is tilted.
  • This planet has seven thin, flat rings around it
