BIOGRAPHY

  • Born in May 11th, 1904 in Catalonia,Spain.
  • He was born near the French border in the Empordá Region.
  • His father was a middle class lawyer and had his stay-at-home mother.
  • He got into the art of Surrealism at an early age in Madrid and Paris.

His most famous piece of art was made in 1931 called "The persistence of the memory".

MUSEUM

  • Most of his painting are in his museum in st. Petersburg,Florida
  • It cost $36 million dollars to create.
