Pedro Calungsod is also known as Peter Calungsod or Pedro Calonsor, is a Roman Catholic young Filipino blessed and was a migrant, sacristan and missionary catechist, who along with the Spanish Jesuit missionary, Diego Luis de San Vitores, suffered religious persecution and martyrdom in Guam for their missionary work in 1672.
Saint Pedro Calungsod was born on 1655 and he was born in Visayas region in the Philippines. He died on april 2 1672. He was beatified on march 5 2000. He was canonized on october 21 2012 ST.Peter's Basilica,Vatican City Pope Benidict XVI.
Reflection
He is my favorite saint because he is a filipino like me. He is my favorite saint because I am so proud of him because he sacrificed so hard.
