HOW ARE ROCKS AND MINERALS THE SAME AND DIFFERENT?

  • Rocks and minerals are different because they are different organisms .
  • Minerals are little pieces of rocks, dirt, sand, and clay, etc.
  • Rocks and minerals aren't the same because rocks are solid mineral material.
  • Minerals are solid inorganic substance of natural substance.
  • Rock is a materials forming parts of the Earth and other planets.

THE EARTHS LAYERSRS.

  • Crust-The crust holds the Earth together.
  • Upper Mantle-The part of the Earth that's fluffier the the Lower Mantle.
  • Lower Mantle-The part of the Earth that's compressed and hard.
  • Outer Core- The part of the Earth that's above the Inner Core.
  • Inner Core- The inside of the Earth .

THE 3 PARTS OF THE EARTH'S CRUST.

  • The first part of the Earth's crust is the Mantle.
  • The second part is the Outer Core.
  • The third part is the Inner Core.
  • The thinnest of the Earth's crust is the Seabed.
  • The thickest part of the Earth's crust is the Moutains.

4 THINGS THAT COULD CANGE ROCKS

  • Wind can change rocks because it can break pieces of rock .
  • Temp. can change rocks because it can melt them.
  • Water can change rocks because it can wear rocks down.
  • Ice can change rocks because it can break of pieces of rock.

IGNEOUS,GLACIAL,AND METAMORPHIC ROCK.

  • Igneous rock is formed through the cooling and solidification of magma.
  • Metamorphic rocks can be formed bybeing deep beneath the Earth's surface, subjected to high temperatures .
  • Glacial rocks can be formed by two known factors that must be present in order to create rock glaciers.

WHAT DID I SEE IN THE CAVE?

  • I saw a lot of stalactites and stalagmites .
  • Stalactites are rocks hanging from the roof of an cave.
  • Stalagmites are minerals piling up from the stalactites.
