Richard Sherman

Background

• Richard Sherman was born in compton, California on march 14, 1988
• He attended Dominguez High school where he played football staring in football and track and field.
• He attended Stanford University, and when he graduated from Stanford he had a 3.9 GPA
• He was drafted in the 5th round of the 2011 NFL draft
• He helped the Seattle Seahawks to the super bowl, by causing a game winning interception.

Why He Inspirational?

• He was very successful at high school and college, even after growing up on the streets of compton.
• He has his own charity called the blanket foundation, which gives kids supplies for school and clothes
• He gives money to it each year to help kids in need, which he knows what its like by working hard
• Like he did in school to be able to go to stanford and graduate from there with a 3.9
• He is a very over confident football player, but outside the game does things for people in need.
