1. Describe the immune system

• The immune system is a complex network of different cells and tissues and organs that work together to defend each other from germs, it's Job is to keep all the germs out, and if they get in, they will have to find and destroy it, if this job is not done serious results could result as allergies, asthma and many more

2. Explain how the skin functions as a defense against disease

• The skin is like your body's armor. It has layers of protection. A layer called dermis has many helper t cells that keep the skin healthy to protect the body from autoimmune diseases. It keeps the skin moist and smooth to keep it from drying and cracking allowing bacteria to get in. Skin also naturally grows new skin when it blisters or cuts open to prevent bacteria from getting in.

• What do T- and B-cells do?T- and B-cells are highly specialised defender cells - different groups of cells are tailored to different germs

5. Describe the relationship between vaccination and immunity

• Doctors recommend that people who have rheumatoid arthritis must take vaccinations for respiratory influenza, that's known as the flu shot. also what's recommended would be the pneumonia vaccine and the shingles vaccine. The pneumonia vaccine and the shingles vaccine contains live virus, so it's not recommended for people taking certain types of rheumatoid arthritis medications. Lastly what doctors would recommended are a spray , the nasal spray it's like an antibiotic that helps you fight this disease but that isn't recommended for people who have weak immune systems

6. Describe what happens in an allergic response

• Our immune system responds by producing antibodies called Immunoglobulin E, These antibodies travel through and in our cells that then release chemicals causing an allergic reaction. This reaction usually causes symptoms in the nose, lungs, throat, sinuses, ears, lining of the stomach or on theskin and could get you sick and have fever.

7. Describe at least one immune disorder.

• Rheumatoid Arthritis- A chronic inflammatory disorder affecting many joints, including the hands and feet, causing pain, deformity, and immobility.

8. Explain (diagram) the antigen-antibody reaction.

• A chemical reaction between antigens and antibodies in the immune system.
