Shift#2 treat the underlying cause

stuck on the Symptom

  • There is one new case every 3.2 seconds of Alzheimers and dementia related illness.
  • The problem is that the symptoms are being treated rather than the underlying causes.
  • Yes, the symptoms can be addressed with both the conventional and the "alternative medicine" approach.

The old way of treating ALZHEIMER'S

  • Run a load of tests, answer a bunch of questions, get pigeonholed and prescribed a whole host of meds to reduce the symptoms.
  • The results of this approach is worsening symptoms, progression of the disease, loss of identity, financial and emotional burden on loved ones and ultimately YOU become a lifelong patient.

The New Approach

  • Identify the testing needed, by reviewing the history and symptoms, so that a complete understanding of the underlying causes can be identified.
  • Implement a STEP-BY-STEP treatment program to eradicate the underlying causes.
  • Results in a reduction of symptoms

understanding the whole

  • Removing the underlying causes can help the body to heal, and the body has the MOST amazing ability to heal.
  • We need to treat the person as a whole: MIND, BODY, and SOUL.

How the body works

How the body works

  • In order for optimal healing to occur, all parts of the body need to be working and working together.
  • We need to look at the genetics, inflammatory pathways, hormonal systems, neurological systems, digestive health, etc.
  • If one or more systems is imbalanced it will affect all the other systems.

Shift #3: AIDE your recovery

Focus on the cause

Focus on the cause

  • Alzheimer's does not develop because the patient is unlucky.
  • 3 main causes. Each one may stand alone or a complex interaction of 2 or more may be the problem.
  • You NEED to understand what the cause /s are and ERADICATE those.
  • This is no longer a "Band-Aide approach to a gushing wound".

3 causes

  • Inflammation
  • Toxicity
  • Trophic loss

Shift# 4: Prevent recurrence

Alzheimers does not just Happen
