How I Learned to Stop Worrrying
Not Always as Easy as that!
2. You’ve survived a lot worse.
3. You’re fine in this moment.
4. Release expectations and control.
5. Learn the lesson life’s teaching.
8. Consider it a wake-up call.
... how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong but to feel strong,
to measure yourself at least once, to find yourself at least once..."
Many people identify their sense of self with the problems they have, or think they have.
You are not your problems
The power for creating a better future is contained in the present moment: You create a good future by creating a good present
Boredom, anger, sadness, or fear are not 'yours,' not personal. They are conditions of the human mind. They come and go. Nothing that comes and goes is you
Any action is often better than no action, especially if you have been stuck in an unhappy situation for a long time. If it is a mistake, at least you learn something, in which case it's no longer a mistake. If you remain stuck, you learn nothing.
To do well in the future (or college) then you must act now, right now, in the present.
Waiting for the future to simply work out without taking action is irrational
We live our life in the moment.
We must take action in the moment, in the present, to create the future
How does this relate to college?

What's the point of education?
“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. But education
which stops with efficiency may prove the greatest menace to society. The most dangerous criminal
may be the man gifted with reason but no morals. … We must remember that intelligence is not
enough. Intelligence plus character—that is the goal of true education.”
If you can realise that you have the power to succeed then you will. You just need to act. Now.
Act now.
Be in the moment.
