• Once a power plant is constructed,electricity is produced constantly
• No waste products
• Does not cause pollution
• Costs $.04 per kilowatt (1/3 the cost of electric energy)

DISADVANTAGES OF HYDROELECTRICITY

• Low employment
• Effects the environment
• Effects the fish population in dams

WHERE IS IT USED?

• It's used by everyday individuals
• In towns, local businesses, and industrial enterprises
• It's used to power anything from cars to a hair dryer
• BUT normally houses

GOVERNMENT

• Passed the "Cap and Trade" bill
