BELIEF

  • A feeling of being sure that something is true
  • Tenet isa synonym of belief
You may believe that something is true or false, hence a the picture of a true or false test

MONTHIESM

THE BELIEF IN ONE GOD
Monotheism is the belief in one god, therefore I used a picture of some belief to be god.

POLYTHIESM

THE BELIEF IN MORE THAN ONE GOD
Polytheism is the belief in one god. I used a picture of Greek gods to show how one religion can encompass many, many different gods

ATHEISM

THE BELIEF IN NO GOD OR GODS
Atheists do not believe in the supernatural, something that cannot be explained by reason or science, like a ghost.

AGONSTICISM

THE BELIEF THAT WE CANNOT KNOW IF GOD EXISTS.
I used a question mark to represent uncertainty, agnostics are uncertain of gods existence and believe we cannot prove it.

THIESM

RELATING TO GOD
I used a cross because Christians believe that's where the son of god died.
