Bow your head whilst we pray our opening prayer.
In the name of the father,sun and Holy Spirit Amen.
O God, I thank you for the food we eat, being a great guidance when I was in need, and I thank you for keeping me humble and blessed.
O Heavenly Father, I thank that you have given me a life to live in, a wonderful family to love and parish, and I thank you for the awesome friends that would help me when I'm in need.
Almighty God, I thank you for the eyes that make see, the legs that make me walk, a brain to make me think, arms that make me eat, and finally a mouth that preaches God the amazing.

Thank you, Father, for having created us and given us to each other in the human family Thank you for being with us in all our joys and sorrows for your comfort in our sadness
We thank you for the gift of life for the breath that sustains life for the food of this earth that nurtures life for the love of family and friends
without which there would be no life O God when I have food
