First stages of life
The first stage of life for red eyed tree frog is the egg. Red eyed tree frogs lay thousands of eggs on the under side of a leaf. They hatch after a few days. The tadpoles live in the water for fourteen weeks. When they become adults, the frogs have many colors on their bodies.

Appearance
The red eyed tree frog is a colorful animal. It is covered in striking green on their backs and legs. They have blue and yellow stripes on their bellies and sides. They also have a flash of blue on their thighs. Red eyed tree frogs are easy to spot in their habitats, as they are coated in bold, exotic colors.

Diet
Red eyed tree frogs eat creatures from insects to smaller frogs. A red eyed tree frog is a frog that lives in the trees. They eat anything that fits into their mouth, and they swallow it whole. A red eyed tree frog can eat up to 100 insects in one night! For such a tiny animal, the red eyed tree frog eats a lot.
