FREEDMENS BUREAU

  • Freedmen and abandoned lands.
  • Lots of people had to go to the freed men's bureau because they needed
  • Food shelter and medicine.

14TH AMENDMENT

  • national citizenship and forbidding the states to restrict the basic rights of citizens or other persons.
  • The constitution was just a bunch of amendments.

15TH AMENDMENT

  • prohibiting the restriction of voting rights “ of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.”
  • The 15th amendment protects the rights of Americans to vote in elections to elect their leaders.
