  • Additive is a number resulting in zero when added
  • Multiplicative is a number resulting in zero when multiplied

IDENTITY PROPERTY

  • Addition is after you add you get the same result
  • Multiplication is after you multiply you get the same result

  • Addition is it doesn't matter if you switch the numbers in the addition
  • Multiplication is it doesn't matter if you switch the numbers in the multiplication
