Trees

The sunlight bears down on open areas of water but trees create a shield from the sunlight and keep the water cool

HUMANS

  • Produce waste
  • Infect the water
  • Kill salmon for food
  • Make man made things like dams
  • Dump waste

Humans

They fish in the rivers and watersheds. This means they take the fish out of water and kill them. This lead to the extinction o fish in that body of water


DAMS

  • Block salmon
  • Stops minerals getting to other side
  • Stops flooding
  • Kill fish
  • Stop flow of water
"Dams block the passage of salmon and steelhead between spawning and rearing habitat and the Pacific Ocean."

"Pollution happens when rainfall, snowmelt, wind, or irrigation water run over the land or through the ground and picks up pollutants and deposits them into streams, lakes, or groundwater."

Dams

Built to keep water contained so nothing goes to the other side like minerals or fish. This can also lead to death of animals.

  • Poisons the water
  • Kills creatures
  • Decrease population
  • Suffering of animals

Pollution

Human has plastic waste bag. They drop it on ground. The wind takes it and can end up in the water.

RAIN

  • Can create floods
  • Hydrates trees and plants
  • Creates movement in water
  • Dampens moss and grass

Rain

Starts to lightly rains. It becomes heavier and more rain is made. Water levels start to rise. Inclinations make water flow a certain way.
