PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Srinivasa Ramanujan was born on December 22, 1887 in Erode, India
He had little formal education, but discovered and rediscovered many theorems and concepts.
After struggling as a mathematician for quite some time, he sent his mathematical papers to Cambridge.
Many professors ignored the papers as these concepts were already well known in Europe.
But one professor, G. H. Hardy, recognized his brilliance.
He invited Ramanujan to Cambridge. There, the duo discovered many things including:

He died April 26, 1920 at the age of 32.
He was self-taught and remains one of the greatest mathematicians.
