PRESENTATION OUTLINE
The Ho Chi Minh it was a military supply route through Vietnam through Laos and Cambodia all the way to south Vietnam. The route sent weapons back and fourth to their supporter in Vietnam. The trail was name after the president of north Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh actually moved several tons of supplies through rugged mountain turrain . Since many of the raids had become common knowledge then were being compelled to announce that the controversial missions were autherized by the power of Lyndon B. Johnson
Agent orange is a herbicide and defoliant chemical mainly for “tactical use”. It is a mixture of equal parts of 2 herbicides 2,4,5-T and 2,4-D found in the mixture has caused minor health problems for individuals who were exposed especially children. 4 million people in Vietnam were exposed to the foliage and 2 million are disabled or have health problems. In mid 1961 president ngo Dinh Diem of south Vietnam asked for the United States to spray herbicide throughout the country
VIET CONG TUNNELS/CU CHI TUNNELS
The tunnels are an immense network of connecting tunnels. The tunnels are located in the cu chi district or go chi miah city. American soldiers uses the term black echo to basically describe the conditions within the tunnels. Life in the tunnels are very difficult especially with little amount of air food and water. Most of the time the soldiers would spend the day in the tunnles working or resting while during the night time they come out and scavenge for supplies.
Napalm is a incendiary mixture of gelling agent and a volatile petrochemical usually gasoline. Napalm usually burns of a temperature of about 800 to 1,200 degrees Celsius. It burns for greater than gasoline as well as sticking to its targets. Widely it’s used to be both in air and in ground role. With the largest via air dropped bombers in world war 2
SEARCH AND DESTROY MISSIONS
Search and destroy/seek and destroy or even s and d became a large component of the Malayan emergency and most of all the Vietnam war. They infer hostile territory search out the enemy and always destroys them the complementary conventional strategy.their plan was to attack and conquer an enemy position. Holding the position is indefinitely known as “clear and hold”.
