  • everything segregated
1957-when racism (Then) started

No equality- African Americans and white people were separated..treated like different people

Everything Segregated- Practically everything was seperated between African Americans and White people. Even Water Fountains were separated.

  • CHS intergration started
  • Little Rock 9 sent to CHS

No Equality

  • A.A. didn't have the same rights
  • Laws against A.A.
  • Segregated Areas

Everything Segrated

  • Church
  • Home Life
  • Transportation
  • School
  • Public Places

RACISM NOW

  • Less racism
  • Still racism
  • Segregation
  • More equality

Less racism

  • Laws against AA removed
  • People grew more accepting
  • Today people are treated the same

Still racism

  • Some people are 'racist'
  • Not just against AA
  • Example: asian, intellegent
  • Still Racism Today!

More equality

  • They have the same rights
  • Laws  removed
  • No segregated areas
  • All equal
