PRESENTATION OUTLINE
R is for railroad.
Montag escaped to the railroad after he lost the hound. On the railroad he met granger and a few other men that he would be traveling with until they ran into another city. Granger helped him remember and showed him that pathetic most important thing anyone could do was remember.

S is for saved.
When Montag was escaping the mechanical hound he went into the river and it was kind of like he was being baptized. He was losing his scent so the mechanical hound and when he did that he was resurrected as a new person, starting a new life as a saved man.

T is for tranquility
Montag had a sense of relaxation and tranquility as he floated down the river. He was slowly floating away from all of his troubles and the water encompassed him making him feel new and cleansed. The hound was behind him and he was surrounded by the soothing sounds, scents, and sights of the river and the woods alongside of him.

U is for unzipped.
As Montag starts to regain his memories his brain seem to be unzipping. After living in darkness for so long and not being able to remember his brain starts to unzip and the light shines through allowing him to remember more and more. He is now able to remember things about his past and about the things he has read.

V is for virus
The government felt that if Montag survived that reading and thinking would spread like a virus. Montag had to be killed to prevent an uprising and starting a revolution.

W is for walk
When Montag escaped the first mechanical hound he was being hunted by the police and the other mechanical hound so he had to walk and not run across a road. If he ran the people around would notice something weird going on and probably call him into the police. As he walked across the ten lane highway he tripped and was only saved because the people in the car knew that they would flip if they hit him.

X is for xenophobia
There are many people in this society that are afraid of the foreign feel that Montag and books brought with them. The government didn't want anybody to feel uncomfortable in the society so they faked montage death by killing someone else in place of Montag so he couldn't start a revolution.

Y is for Yellowstone.
It was illegal to go slowly on roads and take on the beauty of the earth, like the beauty of Yellowstone national park. Also, like the geysers at Yellowstone erupting with no warning, Beatty verbally attacked Montag causing Montag to kill him without warning.

Z is for zebra
Montag was like a zebra. He was running from the hound which is like a zebra running from a lion. The hound symbolizes a lion because he kills people and he is vicious. Montag is like a zebra because he was running from danger.
