Tried with a yr9 class that we're working on an audio unit in ICT, most of them in the class were working at merit/distinction level

WHAT DID THE STUDENTS THINK?

OUTCOME

  • Students demonstrated more independence
  • They appeared to be reluctant to use their token unless really needed
  • Would rather struggle through a problem than ask me for help
