  • The moons mass is 1.23% of the Earth's mass
  • A dual planetary system is when the masses of the two objects are similar

WHERE IS THE SYSTEMS CENTER OF GRAVITY

  • The center gravity between the earth & moon is inside the earth
  • Since earth has a bigger mass the earth has a great gravitational pull
  • In a few million-billion years this will not be the case
  • Because the moon is moving farther apart an 1.5 inches a year
