Early life

She was born September 7,1533 in Greenwich, England. Her dad was king Henry the 8. Her mom was Queen Anne. She was smart. She learned to Speak many different languages. She also learned the piano. Elizabeth was under house arrest when Mary died. She was crowned Queen of England on January 15,1559 at the age of twenty-five.

She had tutors who helped her study. She learned many languages. She learned how to play the piano and sew.

Major Accomplishments

When she was Queen of England more people were educated. She was loved by her people. She spoke Latin, Greek, French, Spanish and Welsh. She made England powerful by being the Queen.

Brave- for ruling England for 44 years.
Peaceful- for avoiding fighting in wars. She only wanted England to be safe.

1533- She was born in Greenwich, England.

1562- She became sick with smallpox. People died from smallpox but she lived.

1603- She died from getting burned.

Fun Fact

Elizabeth liked to have pictures painted of her. There were more portraits painted of her than any other English monarch.
After becoming Queen, Elizabeth enjoyed dressing in fancy gowns. The style of the times followed her lead becoming full of ruffles, braids, wide sleeves, intricate embroidery, and lined with jewels.
