King Henry VIII continuely beheaded his wifes
When Elizabeth was two, King Henry accused his wife Anne Boleyn of inecest with her brother
And had her beheaded. And the marrige was annulled
Therfore Elizabeth was delcarred illigetimitt
Her brother Edward was king until his death in 1553. Then her sister Mary became queen and Elizabeth succeeded her

this left her with severe deep scares on her face.
she took a mixture of white lead powder & vinegar
which created a thick white makeup, she used to cover her face
and put a bright read heart on her lipps. This became very fashionable
