PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Setting:
The setting throughout the whole book is in McKinley High School. This book is fiction. Based off of the cover I believe this had to be in the mid 1900's.
Character- David
- David is very stubborn
- David is also very Lonely-like at the beginning of the book.
- David is very stern when talking to his younger brother will.
- David is also the head captain for his group when the Quarantine gets put out on the school.
Character- Will
- Will is very sneaky when is comes to his brother David.
- Will likes to get on his brothers nerves and act like hes the head of the whole group.
- Will is very flirty with the girl he likes and her name is Lucy. Lucy is another girl who is stuck in the school with them.
Character- Sam
- Sam used to be Davids best friend but however, once the gangs started they split separate ways.
- Very mean and rude towards David.
Internal Conflict:
The internal conflict in this book would be that he isn't doing very good at keeping his gang together.
External Conflict:
An external conflict would be that there is an infection spreading throughout Davids body and there is nothing that he can do to stop it.
Theme:
The theme of this story is "Be careful what you wish for." because in this story David is really wanting to get away with killing Sam but, the way that it's looking he may end up getting beat up or even killed by another gang.
This book is very interesting and exciting because there is never a boring moment. Everything in this book gets your attention and believe me, you won't be able to put this book down! This book QUARANTINE is also a series, so be sure to purchase all books!!
