PRESENTATION OUTLINE

PSYCHOLOGY EXPERIMENT

BY BRYCEN AND LAB PARTNERS, MRS.SUTTON.

Introduction

  • If it was anonymous would they answer more truthfully than if they hasd put their name
  • We asked kids 6-8th grade to come take a survey with 14 questions.

Materials

  • Survey
  • Pencils
  • Dividers
  • Popsicles

Methods

  • We came up questions for the survey that were personal
  • The surveys were then printed we made fliers and went around telling people about our survey
  • Then we had kids take the survey.
  • Once the data was collected we took that and found the average questions to compare.

Data

  • Confidential #1
  • Question #1:5
  • 2 # 2:3.9
  • 3# :1.8
  • 4# :1

Results

  • This data tells us the average number that was picked on survey.
  • We got averages from each group and averages from each question
  • We then graphed them on a bar graph
  • In questions 9-14 the results were high and they were the more personal questions

Discussion or Analysis

  • In the results most people answered higher in tha last couplle of questions.
  • Most people didnt answer truthfully because some results could be an outlier
  • But in the first few questions people answered alot lower because they were about them doing things to people

Conclusions

  • In the experiment from the data it seems like people were thruthfull when they were anonymous
  • I believe some people might have but most were not lieing on the survey
  • Our was conlusion was that the experiment was a success.
