WHAT THEY EAT
- They burrow underground 4-12 ft in search of food.
- They feed mostly on termites,ants,and worms.
WHERE THEY LIVE
- They live in Western Ghats,India
- The Purple Pig Nosed Frog spends most of the year underground,only surfacing for about 2 weeks for mating.
It's Habitat
- It's habitat is a tropical forest-covered mountain range that runs parallel to the western coast of India.
- The purple frog is threatened by habitat loss, resulting from deforestation for coffee and cardamom plantations in the region.
MALE AND FEMALE
- The female Purple Nosed Frog is about 3❌Bigger than the male.
