YOU CAN GET IT SEXUALLY OR FROM INFESTED CLOTHING OR BEDDING.

SYMPTONS FOR BOTH MALE AND FEMALE

  • Skin reaction that causes skin to turn bluish grey in color.
  • Sores in genital area due to bites and scratching
  • Can happen instantly or 2-4 weeks after being infected.

CURE

  • Pubic Lice and be cured simply by a lotion applied 2 times in a week.
  • The two commonly used insecticides to treat this disease are
  • Malathion lotion ans permethrin 5% cream
  • Re apply these treatments until cured.

COMPLICATIONS

  • Itching and infection
  • Swelljng of eyelids
  • Cornea becomes inflamed

STATISTICS

1 IN EVERY 90 PEOPLE HAVE PUBIC LICE IN NEBRASKA.
