• learn someone close to you experienced or was threatened by a traumatic event
• repeatedly exposed to graphic details of traumatic events

SYMPTOMS

• relive experiences of the traumatuc event (images, memories)
• upsetting dreams about a traumatic event
• experience flashbacks, as if you were experiencing the event again
• severe emotional distress or physical reactions that remind you of the event
