Sometimes I listen to 92.5 but most of the time I don't listen to music because I am often talking to either clients, staff or partners and music could be a distraction. (SN)

I usually don't listen to music while working, but when I do it's mostly jazz. I like Avishai Cohen, McCoy Tyner, lots of others....I like the old Delta and Texas Blues players, too...I'll listen to anything from Zydeco to Ska, to classical. (JF)

I try to be positive so that we can all support each other. I always try to visualize us as a defense line in Football protecting the quarterback which in this case is our clients. If I stay positive and be a good team member, then we all stay supported and have each other's backs. (AN)
We try to impact each customer in a positive and professional way. Focus on strengths, identify barriers, encourage and support. And model professionalism, and soft skills and help customers navigate employment services and social services systems. (JF)
I believe I strike a balance (or strive to) between keeping people motivated and inspired while also keeping an eye on outcomes and budget. Hopefully in all of that I am creating a supportive work environment where people want to be every day. (EG)

I was headed to 40 instead of 60! Sometimes I feel like I'm just starting out, and then it hits me: this Fall marked my 25th year in social services...I have very few regrets, but man I wish time would just slow down a little. (JF)
