3.
Additive Property
Additive property is what you add to a number to get zero
Such as:
-5+5=0

4.
Multiplicative Property
When you multiply a number by its multiplicative inverse it equals one or zero.
EX:
8x1/8=1

5.
Identity Property
There are two types of identity property addition and multiplication
Photo by
Crouchy69
6.
Identity Property of Addition
You can add it too any number and the number stays the same.
EX:
0+5=5

7.
The Identity Property of Multiplication
You can multiply any number by it and the number stays the same
EX:
8x1=8

8.
The Commutative Property
There are two kinds of commutative property one is addition and one is multiplication.

9.
The Commutative Property of Addition
It doesn't matter what order the number s are in you will end up with the same sum
EX
1+2=3 2+1=3
Photo by
Crouchy69
10.
The Commutative Property of Multiplication
When you switch the order of the two numbers the product is still the same
EX
3x4=12 4x3=12

11.
Associative Property
There are two types addition and multiplication.

12.
Associative Property of Addition
No matter where they the parenthesis are the sum is the same
1+(2+3)=2+(1+3)
Photo by
Crouchy69
13.
The Associative property of Multiplication
No matter where the parenthesis is the product is the same
1x(2x3)=2x(3x1)

14.
Distributive Property
A property indicating a special way in which multiplication is applied to addition
EX 2(x+1)=2x1+2xx
x=1
